The Service Desk Supervisor was let go yesterday. I wasn't a fan and the Service Desk isn't that great, but I don't understand why or at least the timing.

My VP sent out a note yesterday that they were continuing to look at (out)sourcing strategies. The tone was a bit odd.

The CIO has invited us to her first town hall mid September. I think I should be updating my resume.

I found out yesterday that my first supervisor at CLA has been diagnosed with lung cancer. It's a kind that can spread. She has an enlarged adrenal gland that they're going to look at along with her brain. She's already started chemo. She's older than me, but her kids are younger than mine.
