I can't cook
I used my smoke alarm as a timer yesterday so my hash of mashed potatoes and stuffing had a pretty good char on it, but with a couple of scrambled eggs and a dollop of ketchup it was sooo good.

Dropping like (church) flies
One of our former adherents, the property expert, passed away at the end of November. Three members are in hospital for heart and/or hip problems. Another member is having surgeries for cancer. Our former choir director passed away suddenly mid December after lunching with a couple of the guys. Yesterday, I attended a funeral for a member who passed away at the end of December. She was 95. We've reached that age and stage of the congregation.
P.S. Found out Jan. 7th that one of the people in hospital passed away.
