Canada Day
My daughter decided to come down with her kids for Canada Day. I had other plans for the day, but they had to be shelved. I tidied up the kitchen and waited for them to arrive. We spent the afternoon outside. The kids played on their uncle's new hammock, and he roared them around on the 4-wheeler he got for them. My daughter let me listen to my music most of the afternoon. She made burnt hot dogs for supper with Greek salad. After that, the kids played tag then we had a fire and smores. Then it was time for sparklers and fireworks. It was a pretty good day, better than weeding and mulching the garden.
